Ngl i was a bit relieved when i started this and realized that the ML is actually psychopathic, abusive, manipulative and just what we woukd expect from this kind of story. A lot of these typesnofnstories lately have so called bad guy ML's but still presented in a romantic way with so much sudden redemption etc or a typical chasing arc hahaa. Formless gives the actual story of what it cqlan be like to be with someone abusive - good days can be good, bad days are bad, but there's also almost no way of leaving.
I like this story because it's def nice as a fantasy (anyone in debt and financial crisis, hands up lolol) but still kinda honest about the dynamics of an abusive relationship irl.

I absolutely love when characters attempt and succeed (even partially) at learning how to communicate better!
This is one of the older ones that remains to be a favorite reread because it has the kind of artistic layout/aesthetic i appreciate even after so many years. Nice anatomy and body proportions, Kousuke's facial expressions and hand gestures are so damn sexy for a drawing haha.
I think the story is hilarious (absurd/silly and never taken seriously), and I like the way that it has the dubcon flavor but balances it out with kousuke's later realization that he tjought he was just acting out his craziest fantasies and not irl. This was most def supposed to be 80% pwp but the entire story development somehow made them such a cute and loving couple in the end.
Can you spoil me and say what Kousuke does after he realizes that what he’s doing isn’t a fantasy? Like does he feel awful and try to fix things or is it more like “oh whoops sorry lol” because I’m trying to get thru these first chapters and it’s really rough
