I am guessing this is a "dream" state where Taehyuk is experiencing "dreams" representing how he's slowly losing his life. Him forgeting Hyoun is just a part of the dream, or he might really forget him when he wakes up (just a possibility since falls like that may cause brain damage). Hyoun "enters" the dream appearing as his young versions because he feeds Taehyuk the pearl and attempts to revive him in real life. The boatman of death comes to take him because he is supposed to die from that fall, but Hyoun is stopping him.
Stupid translator. The writing for the last chapter was absolutely fine. Is struggling financially and not wanting to be a financial burden something they hate in a story because they're disillusioned by all these rich people in mangas? It's relatable and not bad writing. Translations shouldn't be biased, keep your ridiculous opinions to yourselves. No respect for the mangaka at all. Thank you for the improved version in the last chapter! This story was amazing.
I agree for sure, the comments at the end of the 6th chapter like ruined my experience. I know I have no power, on that point because I am not paying for this art. But I enjoyed it and then, as a was going to finish it, the last chapter was being dumped on constantly. Along with the financial parts you brought up earlier, hyunchanee, other comments pasted onto the translation also shamed the couple for getting tattoos, when it is both their decision and choice to do so?
I know it's all fiction, but it's so weird how yall like Masaki... did we even read the same story? You people like a minor chara with a horrible discriminatory personality over the male lead who genuinely cares and loves the main character? And also claim MC and ML don't have chemistry just bc that side character had sex with the MC first? Weirdos.
It wasn't remotely anywhere close to a happy ending, but I was satisfied with how it ended. Gonna reread it again during my next period
