Typical uke in denial x rapey seme. The feelings are mutual but the relationship is toxic. I still don't know why this is most yaoi plots but whatever. Eiji does remind me of my sister in how she can sell herself short trying to be nice then it can bite her in the butt (she would never tolerate someone like the seme here obviously, this is real life. I'm talking more on friendship/hanging out circumstances). I just wish eiji would admit his feelings at least. The internal denial is just ugh. The development between them could have been much better if they still end up together. Of course, ancient yaoi logical got in the way of such development for the zillionth time. Still, I'll make do. This is fiction in the end. I'll look on the cute bright sides now. If the story is continued like it gets a 2nd volume, I really hope both eiji and rui show actual development. Parts of this first volume have been refreshing (like eiji managing to say what needed to be said at some point) though it was often post damage done... it did end up like your usual rapey plot by the end of chapter 6). If only the universe will listen and bring me some good development. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
There's one panel where he didn't have the interview hairstyle anymore but there was still like one thick strand of hair sticking out at the top of his head. Now I can't unsee the Alfalfa hair when I look back at him with the flat interview hairstyle. I wonder how Alfalfa must be doing, looking for a job with his hairstyle.
