I guess what my issue is that I just prefer a ML that shows emotion and is relatable. Or even like, they earn my sympathy and I get attached to them because I can see how their situation effects them yk? NOT as bland as "I'm nice to everyone and I never get upset no matter what happens
Um jeez I think u totally misunderstood his character. He has never been loved his whole life, abandoned by his mom and stuck with his dads dept. No one cares of him and he doesn’t even have a basic understanding of what care love or even normal life is. Like have u no thought that the reason why he’s so naive, stupidly positive and ignorant is a trauma response, his way of coping the shit hand he was dealt with. There are people out there with terminal cancer but have such a positive outlook in life even near death…. All types of people exist.

I think it's very much intentional. One other manhwa of this author is a psycho thriller with really disturbing imagery similar to Killing Stalking like someone stated here. I've skimmed through the raws a little and them as well as the previous chapters really show that Cirrus is very instable, kinda manipulative and insecure. He wants to keep Skylar close to him and to create a dependency (which he already tried by seperating Skylar from Chanil). All in all he struggles to keep his negative emotions in control.. jealousy, anxiety, greed, frustration. I get why it's like that from the following chapters.. but it's also supposed to be a little creepy, especially the imagery of glowing hungry eyes etc.
He's also very moody and uncomposed.
I don't think it's supposed to be sexy or cute, it's giving me very much "forceful and unstable", which it kinda is. I'm still very excited for what's to come (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

U can be silly and fun but it brushes over the biggest plot point like crazy. She LITTERALLY learned all the abuse she went through and same with the other girl was because of a mistake of another person and she brushes past that. Also after the beginning of the story she never starts to worry about her past life and career OR ANYTHING for that matter in her original body. Like she was never stressed, cried, or gotten angry in her hard situation.
An author can make it a comedy but sit have hard hitting, serious plot points. This is just terrible writing bro
I think she might being feeling like whatever happened has happened but lets make do with the situation that she is in now. She was abused and she became strong in her previous life due to it. So now she is mentally strong enough to handle the situation.
There was a line she said 'her old name/identity seems a little unfamiliar to her after the body change'. So I guess it makes sense to brush past that. But I agree with you, definitely can be showed better way :)
I get this but I can't agree completely because she started crying at one point because she was welcomed home by her new family. Even if she is strong, it still obviously effects her. So it becomes even more unnatural
