Was a bit boring, imo. Every chapter felt very abrupt, there was no growth or character development, no conflict. Just happy-go-lala feelings with two perpetually happy people. I liked the maturity of the characters, and the art is nice, but the story just felt really flat. Was okay for a one-time read.
Couldn't agree more it was just lacking I know it's fantasy in all but it just wasn't realistic, had a lot of unnecessary sex scenes, just too lovey dovey to the point it just felt fake, and this is coming from someone who loves love... But I also like for things to be realistic there wasn't even a drop of an argument or conflict... Just needed more!!
Did not like it. I'm not into shotacon. I know it's not tagged as shotacon (hence why I read it), but the uke gives me a total pedo vibe.
Acting like he just wants to have innocent fatherly moments with kids, then he lets one climb fully onto his lap and kiss him, rather than, oh, I dunno, STANDING UP so the tiny kindergartner can't reach anything other than his kneecaps.
I could understand if the kid was an adult and forced it on him using brute strength, but ugh, some little kid is sitting there talking about how he wants to romantically kiss him and he just lets it happen, using "I don't want to hurt him" as an excuse and acting like there was nothing he could do to stop it.
From the title of this manhwa, I expected it to be yet another one of those frustratingly idiotic "hot-headed brainless girl and hot-headed asshole guy get into a relationship somehow and they fight constantly but fall in love anyway" stories, but I was very, very mistaken. I find all of the main characters to be likable, and they're unexpectedly kind and mature toward each other. So far I'm only on chapter 35, but none of the "cat and dog" conflict I thought was going to happen has happened (not yet, anyway, and I hope not ever!)
It's been a lovely story up until the point I've read, and I am looking forward to reading the rest of what's available. :) Also hoping there's a live-action of it somewhere out there...
It was a good read, but Shoma annoyed me. He went into that sex friend arrangement knowing full well that Nanami was loose but he still got pissed about it, even to the point of getting jealous over brief phone calls. Pointless drama like that makes no sense to me and I don't find it entertaining. If someone's behavior bugs you that much, don't date them. Simple as that.
I think Shoma fell in love at first sight and couldn't leave the guy alone. I can understand that. He probably couldn't stop because he would imagine his brother and Nanami having sex just the two of them and he couldn't allow that happening.
Sometimes you just can't help falling in love, and Shoma fell in love with the wrong kind of guy but I'm glad he succeeded. I think it's almost a miracle, since love can change people but usually some habits can't be changed.
Love is blind, and so are hormones.
