Tried reading this but the story makes very little sense to me. I feel like I just got dropped into the middle of something, with no explanation. The art is beautiful, but I really can't enjoy it cause of the bad writing. Gonna try the novel instead.
That’s kinda how the mc feels. Like he’s dead and doing whatever it was dead people do, then all of a sudden in a random persons body getting beat up by an ugly guy n his goons..... but like everyone else here is saying, go read the novel. It explains more and you will be obsessed (●'◡'●)
honestly, I have some trouble reading the novel too, because the names are so confusing D: I think the best thing is to read both the novel and the comic at the same time (⌒▽⌒)
Yeah the names are a bit confusing...literally everyone has three or four names. It's already hard enough for me to keep up with one lol. Still, it's a good novel.
the plot is VERY slow in the beginning and i feel in the manhua it would be even slower. I recommend reading the novel first as indeed chinese names are confusing af as long as you have seen them a couple of times you should get used to them do dont worry. I really hope you dont drop it as it is a very good series and harlious af
Don't worry, I won't drop it, even if I don't understand everything it is really interesting! And then, I'll probably re-read it in the future while waiting for new chapters to be translated and it will be more clear

The names confuse me too. And they all have so many names! (The only one with more than one name should be the mc -his real name and the name of the body he’s in). I half ignore pets of their names to make it easier. Also, they each have a 3 character first name, and I just ignore that part of their name and go by the bigger name that comes afterwards. That’s helped me a lot. As I get more into the book, I’ll probab be able to stop skipping names.

i didn't find their names complicated at all. there are titles, names they changed to when they joined the sect, and birth names i believe. These are the only ones. as for how they have too many syllables in their names - that's simply because you are not used to Chinese names.

A person has 3 official names, still have a nickname, face different person with different name, really, just at first I also can not remember, then no problem.I read the novel twice time,love all the characters.

Tess only goes there to see Rene, so... story from here on changes to Rene getting revenge on Sweet paradise for murdering his true-love (Jin)'s cat. Yaoi sci-fi turned psychological thriller, eventually locking Iro up and starving him just like he starved the cat. Uses his dead body to make the perfect s-roid and live forever torturing it in all kinds of kinky ways.
Hooooly craaap, what an imagination! Why not be an author of a novel or comic? Because a twist like that is unthinkable of...for me. Although that one ended in tragedy.

I never understand when manga characters are like "After -insert activity here- is over, we won't have a reason to see each other anymore." Just hang out with each other cause you like to...? O-o
Enjoyed reading it, but really didn't understand the romance between the MC and the lawyer. They only seemed to be in love because the author said so, if you get what I mean. There was never really any development or progress between them. One second they've just met, the next they're both lusting all over each other for no apparent reason.
And that poor girlfriend needs to get a clue and get herself a different boyfriend.
