What are you talking about? Sure Nightingale is more amazing (she's my favourite) but the MC has had a stronger Chemistry with Anna since the beginning. They both were completely interested in eachother since like chapter 5 or something. If this was not a harem type manhwa, then he would have definitely only ended up with Anna.

Nightmare is younger than Anna she hasn't had her coming of age thing yet and we don't actually know how old the prince is (probably early twenties maybe 21) but Anna is 18

For reals i have yet to encounter an emperor that is is good through and through. Some yes do redeem themselves like Claude from who made me a princess and Caitel from Daughter if the emperor and the father from they say i was born a king daughter...but i cant think of any other example of not trashy ruler. The worst of the worts are Ruveliss from the abandoned empress and the emperor from on the emperors lap plus the emperor from lady to queen...But seriously are there no good emperors out there that treat FL with respect and love?

The author is good at delivering the stories, so I think It should be fine. But the novel has overflowing emotion (for me), so it's a bit unfortunate to leave it unread.
If u love smut scene in the first night, then start at chapter 8 book 1.
But if u want to start from where the webtoon here left, then chap 11
alot of the character and relationship development occurs when the two are in bed, which the manga doesn't seem to deliver as effectively from what i've seen so far (up to chapter 36) I read through the entire novel in one night hahahah after getting started here.

I think you should start from the beginning. Like most comics they have to take out a lot of scenes to fit into a couple chapters. I’ve read majority of the novel besides the side stories, then I came to the comic. You miss a lot of scenes that get to know the character a whole lot better. But just FYI most of the Novel includes bed scenes haha
