What, for real? That's disappointing, it's always the prince. I thougth that it's going to be Ikles (I'm still laughing about that "I choose you".....pikachu!) since she is gunning for him and it's a trope to get the slave/knight/fallen noble.
In the original story it's the silver haired man (Vander?? I forgot his name). For the current story, I kinda forgot. But Ikles is so dedicated to the point of being Penelope's dog if I'm not mistaken.
He is kinda obsessed with her. So when he notices she really doesn't have feelings for him, he wanted her to have no one left to oean on but him hence why he introduced the real mc
If I remember correctly, the prince even called both of them as the crazy prince and mad dog of Euckart family. Basically he's amused by their position since they're known as mad people by others so he think they fit perfectly XD
