I read some of those and Those ML's are supposed to be trashy by the author. This one is another kind of trashy. Realistic? I dont feel it. He knows she was made to marry him, but he also knows she is used to life of luxury. So he should have prepared for her, but noo. He just drops her into life of a farmer. （/TДT)/

She has no assets because her father owns everything and now she is left to fend for herself because her husband owns everything, so yeah, he is better off in this case. He might not want the marriage but her position is worse. And he just does nothing. She has absolutely no choice but to follow him, while he has every right to leave her anywhere. so yeah he should have worked harder and earned money to support her.

What it means to be you isn’t that toxic actually that main character and the male love interest are so just both really traumatized in different ways so when they come together, it’s not as harmonious as they wanted, but they both spiral, but eventually they work through their traumas!

However, do be aware that they both try to kill themselves multiple times because when they are spiraling, they are spiraling.
