Honestly, I feel like the story was supposed to go deeper into the personal stories of the main ones and be deep but what he said to dongwoo kinda felt empty cause we got the most basic show of his back story, I wish they did a flashback episode and show the true despair and emptiness he felt so when Dongwoo came it would be more meaningful. But because they haven't showed yet or wont, it just doesn't feel all that meaningful, just kinda empty. Other stories do a good time of throwing the good and the bad while reaching the relationship but this just showed good and misunderstandings. They haven't gone back into Dongwoos story of being a pro and losing or the semi feeling shatered. Stores like roomates ( I think), blood bank, love is an illusion, or even behind the desk, all show what it's like before and after they fell and d love showed how impactful is was too meet and love eachother.

This story must be every colonizers wet dream. Cause most slave would detest the person enough to kill them and the fact that all the couples are slave owner and slave puts me off.
The first couple seems rational and actually good but the last 2 are straight up slave owner and slave, Stockholm Syndrome and post slave syndrome. This is kinda sick to me but people keep wanting to bring up other shitty stories as if glorifying slavery is not on a similar level as r@pe which was common back then.
This story should have stopped at the first couple or had a slave on slave couple cause this author just seems to like slave x colonizers couples the most.
