This is definitly a series that needs to be binged rather than having to wait a month and forget everything that happened the meantime...
Yes, it's a slowburn. Same as it was in the novel. But the story progression is pretty quick and well paced in my opinion. If you are only here for smut and romance then sure, it's taking its time but there will still be plenty cute moments between the main pair in the meantime.
We are currently in chapter 77 of the light novel, so almost a 30 Chapter difference which will probably grow further in our favor.

Their first kiss and things changing between them is around chapter 200 in the LN. Calculating the pace of the webtoon it will most definitely be the final of season 2, being around chapter 128. I would say for a slowburn it's a pretty normal pace. The story itself is intriguing enough that the slowburn doesn't drain you out too. So nothing to worry about there!
I get the whole in denial part but this is borderline brain dead. It's not even 'romantic' that he is so infatuated that he can't say no to having sex with him if it literally is at the expense of Kim Dans health and sanity. Really curious what made him this kind of unhealthy nymphomaniac that he still puts selfish sex over common sense. I actually had hopes for the next few chapter but the uncensored tag already destroyed that before I even went into the new chapter lol

The whole love triangle could be left out of the story, I literally don't care who she ends up with. But I guess it spices things up a bit ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Before you come for me - I don't mean it in a bad way, it's more of a compliment that the story could still function without it bc of the good plot (and I simply detest love triangles)

Idk mate, it looks like she will be with white wolf. Maybe I'm completely wrong but in stories like this fl always goes for underdog, Hayato has a family, happy life while white is basically alone, so I bet she will end up with him.
TBH, I'm not really sure that's the case. She technically agreed to be Kirito's mate first (by accident of course, but there's a strong narrative case to be made that that's how the story will end). Her relationship with Hayato is more developed, but I'm pretty sure Kirito is the intended true ML. There is also the possibility they could end up in a thrupple situation. It doesn't usually happen in stories like this, but they way it's going...

I remember reading some bullshit BL where ML was also an absolute bastard and MC ran away from him. The only "redemption" he got was that he got impotent and therefore forced MC back. And nope he didn't apologize or feel any kind of remorse.

My least favorite thing us when there is zero redemption or actual consequences for the shifty person. I've read so man where one person is trash and they do like 3 nice things are forgiven. No rebuilding of trust or anything.

I recently read another story of this mangaka though and wholesome is definitly not the word I would describe it with. I really hope it stays pure here but the other manga scared me even more now.
Yeaaa I'm praying so hard that this stays pure and it's only hirose's one sided love/maybe even better if its just a normal attachment with not love until the end... I hope the author will not randomly making nakamura as the MC just to lost his crush to a teacher.
I read some of the works of the author and a lot of it has p3d0ph1l3 scenes so I'm really not comfortable anymore reading this manga I read that the author draw the teacher and hirose nsfw scenes on Twitter but I don't know anymore and hoping it's fake news because if that's true, that's just DISGUSTING AF.
Ok I went and asked Chatgpt for some spoilers since the story seems to already be finished! Not sure how trustworthy the information is, but it seems like there really doesn't happen anything between the teacher and Hirose. And that it is only on a familiar basis and for misunderstandings.
I really hope Chatgpt didn't tell some bs, sometimes the information really are simply wrong. But I'm defintily more optimistic now.
Same as my last comment, Chatgpt says nothing happens! Would still not fully trust the information though. But if the Twitter thing is real that is still pretty disgusting... Maybe the author was still baiting some people that are into this, but we can at least be happy they probably didn't write it into the story in that way...
