I was just asking myself something, you know, I'm the kind of people who never get out his own country, so I'm asking this here because this website is kinda international
What do you guys think about French people ?
I mean, there's a lot of stereotypes and all, so I don't know what I have to refer to when I'm thinking about the view that other people (outside of France) can have about us
Sorry if my English is bad, I'm still learning jdhezjkjkidjs
When I think about French people what first comes to my mind is food, and the Eiffel Tower lmao. I know that's got noting to do with the people but still.
Aside from that... In my eyes I view the French as more level headed people? Idk I think about croissants.
Looks wise.. I imagine red lipstick and refined clothing. Posh and put together. I think of them as more fashionable than most countries.
Idk about stereotypes. Personally I don't think people think that much of you guys (not in a bad way). You're French, and that's that!
first thing that comes to my mind is arts-like i heard about lot of artist go there and its a place for inspiration, next is fashion industry, wine, ratatouie. of course effiel tower and small cars which are cute,i guess people in my place respect french people and some even live in india ......i do feel bad for french people when i hear they get killed by terror attacks.i think they need to do something on the religion sphere as it causes lot of trouble for them.other than that i would love to visit france.hope they dont treat people racially,i can put up with other things
(sorry I'm from France too but) from my experience in Erasmus (studying in another country thanks to the European Union), other nationalities see us as "people that are terrible at other languages"
I mean this guy from Finland legit told me "What do you mean you're french??? I can understand you???"
They also see us as people who tend to make a french-speakers group and then never try to go see others except when drunk (which, okay, during an Erasmus, it's true for most of them)
now that you mention it, this reminded me of that time i video called with a french friend and they greeted me by slapping me in the face in a really thick accent omg and i do understand what they say and their point does get across when they explain something but their grammar definitely needs work
i hate the french language lol and france too and everything about it idk
I’m from America and I don’t think there are many stereotypes or anything, nothing really comes crashing into my mind. I guess if anything I feel like French people are classy/calm and dress better. I’ve visited France before and I love the culture and atmosphere there. One thing that stood out to me when I visited is that everybody was dressed well and walking everywhere and also skinny (I guess from all the walking). Compared to America at least, where a lot of people where shorts/big shirt with college name/ flip flops, etc and are heavier.
I don’t think many people in America have a negative viewpoint on French people. A lot of people reference “bonjour” and baguettes when it comes to France, but French people aren’t treated in any negative way. If anything I think it’s seen as cool, seeing that there aren’t many French people here (at least where I live)
Give me something, a funny manga, a funny story that happened to you, a dumb webtoon, a 1 chapter thing that everyone forgot except you
Because I'm bored
I was boasting my unpredictability and spontaneity to my new partner. At this moment, he slowly brought his lips to mine and whispered voluptuously, "So, amaze me." To this day I don’t know why I burped in response...

And I'm sure that after your beautiful and delicate laugh he kneels and immediatly asks if you want to be his wife/husband, because he was amazed by your beauty
