Instead of giving the letter she could have refused and give the letter to xixi instead so No she is not the only victim and following people around is stalking, try following someone and let them notice you without knowing why you are following them and see if they don't call the cops on you.

All I'm saying is even thou she is pissed she shouldn't have bit the hand that fed her, he could have simply left her to the dogs to be eaten but he didn't, a simple thanks wouldn't hurt.
