I can’t wait for Asami’s birthday since it’s the same day as mine

I've re-read the whole series start to finish and have continuously re-read the last few chapters, specifically this latest one where Ren asks to be Kyoko's boyfriend. Let me just say that, like anyone who has been following them for a long time, I was really happy that this felt like it was finally happening but..... once I calmed down I started getting more and more negative about the situation. First of all, the promise with Sho is completely invalid. I don't remember which chapter it was settled in, but make no mistake that Kyoko doesn't take that promise to heart anymore. Second, remember that she is the #1 Love Me member. She may have come to accept her feelings for Ren and her feelings about the possibility of him liking someone else, but she has never thought of a future with them two together. The way she seemed to accept his feelings for her on the spot was of course promising, but the follow-up with her being calm was what made my head get out of the clouds. Even Ren was surprised that she wasn't extremely embarrassed and blushing like she had been just moments before. I've been wracking my brain trying to get into the author's mind and figure out a reason as to why Kyoko could possibly reject him but I just can't find a reason suitable enough to convince me when I consider her personality. I doubt she would reject him because of the age difference (she did show her support for when she thought it was someone else). If she thinks back on what she told Lory when she first accepted her feelings for Ren, she already answered her own doubts by saying that it was in case that he falls for someone else and she because an ugly, selfish person who can't wish for his happiness with someone other than herself. But since that's not the case I don't think she'll be able to use that excuse. Honestly, I can't find a reason to reject him (if it were me I sure wouldn't reject a catch like him (づ￣ ³￣)づ) but somehow I still get this feeling that it's not going to go as smoothly as one would hope. I feel like she'll either delay her answer for a few more chapters or straight out say no. I must say that I am glad that Ren is putting it all on the table for her to see that his feelings are sincere. I guess all we can do is hope for the best....!!!!! ╮(￣▽￣)╭
