I lost what yaoi i was reading when the site was gone for a bit so help me out pls?
I was only on Ch 2 i think but what ik is:
MC is a guy who was (foreshadowing i think of him being) sexually abused by his dad and neglected by his mom growing up. The story starts w/ the MC - seme - saying that he never got the attention he wanted from his mom. EX: He really enjoyed track / running but winning didn’t get his mom’s attention until he got an injury, which she got mad at him for having need to pay medical costs. Present-day, the MC seems to wander and stays w/ women who pay him to sleep w/ him. MC has blonde hair? His character is generally very sensitive and headstrong vibes.
One day the MC gets jumped by some guys he pissed off bc he slept w/ one of their girlfriends(?) and then the ML (black hair & uke) finds him on the ground outside. ML is going thru grieving the death of his brother and starts calling the MC by his dead brother’s name bc yk he’s in denial i think. The MC pretends to be the ML’s brother at first since he can stay at the ML’s house but then he decides to stop pretending —
& thats all ik so far hope one of yall can help me tytysm

they gave the seme such a heavy background that the way everything regarding his sister was resolved in one chapter felt unnatural. Im a little disappointed If they were going to solve his problems so quickly i feel like the seme’s past could be written differently yk? So that the pacing doesn’t feel like we’re sprinting towards the end of the story. + And even the uke witnessing the seme cheating on him & then hearing the seme’s explanation for what happened like two seconds later is just too unrealistic considering getting cheated on is his literal struggle/vulnerability regarding his past relationships.
Obvi im js pointing out how the pacing is really fast now. I still like the story overall tho so dont get it twistedd lolol
