I never understood why the prophecy about there being one elementalist would imply fl's mother cheated? There was never a prophecy about there being only one daughter, she can still be the Duke's daughter while not being an elementalist
I think its cuz his child would be guaranteed to be an elementalist. Like when they brought up the story of one of the previous daughters not awakening as an elementalist and everyone then assumed she might not have been the duke’s bio child until she did awaken even tho there was no prophecy back then.
