I've heard the main story is red flag and clearly a very popular one too...but in all honesty, I got into BL to seek refuge and pamper my amygdala not to clog it with 'unnecessary misunderstandings' between fictional characters as if I don't have enough problems of my own. black flags ain't shit
Uhmmmm may wanna stay away from this one then. Chase is pretty bratty and violent towards everyone for a good portion of it and it definitely is full of misunderstandings/characters not being honest with each other. I liked it more than KML, but you are still dealing with the same author. Chase does mellow out and Josh definitely gets his punches in, but it isn't what I'd recommend for those who want to stray away from unnecessary drama and any form if toxicity. I'd recommend it for those who don't mind riding with a psychopath who beats on ppl and treats em like bugs for a bit to see him get all pathetic towards a very strong omega in the end

and is it just me or was the dialogue off this chapter? Like Yujin's whole internal monologue sequence felt a bit...unnatural? scripted? as if it was written just for the heck of it, to wrap up the season...not that this manhwa had exceptional writing to begin with but it's been decent enough. so what's with the:
"YEAH, I'VE ALWAYS JUMPED STRAIGHT INTO THE FLAMES, EVEN WHEN MY LIFE FELT LIKE IT'S OWN DUMPSTER FIRE. I NEED TO JUMP RIGHT INTO THE FIRE IF I WANT TO CLOSE THIS FOR GOOD."

Theo still hasn't explained why he was late to Dylan. And by the looks of it, Dylan won't be asking him that any time soon because of how smitten he is and probably feels questioning Theo would just put a wall between them when all he truly wants is to get closer to Theo (and the feeling is mutual). I mean he DID try poking at it, but Theo dodged it and Dylan let it slide...
But really, I don't think it will sit right with me till Theo does finally come clean to Theo and decides to do away Gunner once and for all (both emotionally and legally).

I hope Dylan becomes someone trustworthy enough for theo to lean on and open up to on his trauma. I don't even think Theo wants to process what was done to him by Gunner atp in time.
Yeah, I agree. It's kind of like when you're totally numb when catastrophe strikes cause your brain took a hit you were never prepared for. And he's got a fuckton of stuff on his plate already may that be work or figuring out his situationship with Dylan. This man is just marching on without caring for his own self. Sealing off the bad stuff away so he can work through the here and now.
And it gets so much worse when you realize that he doesn't really have any kind of close family at all. Yeah, friends and coleagues - but there's only so much you can disclose to them. I hope that Theo heals in due time (and also finds the courage to face Gunner at some point, and take him down too).
