He published his book when subaru was finishing highschool, NOT when subaru was a child! He literally confessed when subaru became an adult , so stop saying his book was some kind of grooming. Go check out the panel, he checks his mail where subaru says ‘almost done with highschool’ and then he calls his editor to hand in the manuscript, and knowing how long books take to be published I’m 100% sure he read it when legal if that bothers y’all so much ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
