I hate the step-father, yes, but while I wished for his death more than anything, everything felt too rushed. I would've liked for it to he taken a bit slowly to further understand the step-father, Yukito and the other man. The three of them have somd kind of severe trauma that somehow two of them resolve by falling in love and the other one just dies. I don't know what I was expecting but it was a bit disappoint to what I expect with these kind of themes. Still, the story, while I am conflicted by the quick development and conclusion, is quite interesting.
So, Kei is sad that he as a former straight male got swayed by a gay acquaintance just to get his heart broken afterwards, yet he thinks its a good idea to sway the recently dumped straight male out of pity?
Like, obviously things work out, is a manga, I just mean that that is kind of a shitty move.
