that mom probably has some like internal misogyny but for omegas (idk if shes one herself) so she wanted to see them succeed against stereotypes and thought omega mc gave up on his ideals cus he kept the baby (raising a kid is hard specially when he’s literally an orphan young teen so doing that alongside studying and becoming successful could be seen as almost impossible)
second part— he IS successful wdym? despite his gender he literally succeeded in his profession and acknowledged by everyone for it. he already did what he said he would do despite all odds?? its stupid to think just bc he ended up with a terrible partner in the end, all his accomplishments became nothing.

And WHY would he dump his entire life just to go back and recreate the whole thing if he literally moved countries to escape the situation.
I thought Gyuwon did a good job dodging and saying no to his old crush under the circumstances so far. I’m also really loving how Geon is rationalizing the situation and is very mature about it. He already knows this guy’s personality and isn’t gonna go down without a fight and I’m here for it!
Unfortunately for the old crush guy, there are people who love drama and need the attention of someone they can string along so they can feel good about themselves. Once the attention is gone they then get angry/jealous and try to ruin their lives so they can get the attention back. I think they also do it as a power move cuz they think they are better than others.

There is still one demon left in the world, I wonder why the author never discussed him taking the cure to become human. He also could have wrote a story that he stayed human until tamayo reincarnated and he then he took the cure and pursued her.
Unless he is saying the demon never took the cure to life forever to keep the memories of tamayo forever but I like the tamayo reincarnated idea better but that’s me

It’s probably less about love and more about wanting power over them. Brandon has such a big ego and doesn’t like the idea that he can’t monopolize someone headstrong like Jin when Mathew, someone he sees as beneath him, could.
I see what you two are saying but he didn’t need to sleep with men to achieve this, he also didn’t need to kill the underling. All that guy had to do was tell Jin his feelings without doing anything scummy and Jin would have been fine with it so to me it just looks like the author just wrote it into existence
