The Glass Mask's longest hiatus was over 20 years and I thought this was pretty bad especially because I'm a fan, but I found out that Nanatsu no Ougonkyou from Yamamoto Sumika has been on hiatus for over 40 years because the mankaga became the leader of a cult. Weirdly enough the hiatus of the mangaka for the Glass Mask is thought to be because she made a cult too.
I heard she became a high priestess in a cult. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
P.S. Their are only 49 volumes that you can probably read somewhere (it's out there somewhere) and it not completed so yeah.
a cult??? i am screaming loooool
and then when she resumed it she had to go and ruin it my setting it in modern times. I remember when it first returned, I was so happy. I went out and bought the magazine it was in (still have it) only to see them whip out a cellphone. I tried a few more chapters but it just felt like meeting an old friend and realizing there's something off about them now. Came here tonight feeling nostalgic and wanting to try again but your post. Your post. A high priestess in a cult.......I'm laughing so hard. This woman needs her own kdrama. I think I'll be laughing over this for the next 10 years. Thank you.
The story reminds me of "An Easy Target (Hogu Hagyeongsu)"
