It's obviously not. The father of the child she is carrying (a girl btw) is that same guy she had her first son with. She was a slave kept at his father's home. However, she abandoned her first child and her lover. Says a lot about her. Well, the world will find about it all soon enough.

The father of her second child is the same father of her first child. When Sovieshit saw her, she was already pregnant that time. At first, she isn't aware of this but even Soviehit knows he's infertile the moment Navier got pregnant with twins.

I don't know clearly but I've read that whatever beef Duke Ergy has with the eastern empire is with Sovieshit himself or/and the previous emperor
P.s - I think it's because he is the son of one of Sovieshit's father's mistresses and half-brother to Sovieshit and thus believes that it was the both of them who snatched away what could have been his (the throne and a better life) which was why he hates Sovieshit and the the eastern empire and wanted to exact revenge against him by joining forces with Prince Heinly (who was going to war with the eastern empire) and also why he literally f*cked Rashta and is probably the father of her baby because well, he hates Sovieshit.
