I think nanjo is a masochist plus he has a very freaky side, like from the beginning he got off on being embarrassed and the dirty talk mix that with his saviour complex and that's how we got here. He's always been more than capable of shoving mokyeon to the side but nope he chose the "entanglement". Anyways a feast for the eyes .
I need your insight on this guys, ps it contains spoilers for those who haven't read the manga
Ok what could it be ? And what's the role of the watchman, how come Tamsy and Rudo crossed? Would the flying trashbeast have made it? Did Regto cross? Does corvus know sth?What could Enjin's instincts be telling him about it?
So here's what I think about the series in itself;
1. It corresponds to senses of the body ie sight, hearing, smelling, tasting and feeling
2. The use depends on the person ie Zodyl uses taste to change the coat into whatever he eats, Rudo's is feeling ie he changes what he touches with his hands and he cares, Amo's is smell the boots etc. Tamsy's book messes with vision , and the guy who makes chokers hears through the chokers right?
So far that makes sense but I can't piece together what the wings do ? Is it part of the series or what did he use to cross? What did he give away?
Another thing the watchman guards the path linking both worlds but why? And. The sphere don't have any treasures but everyone underground has treasures? Could this be the reason and link? So do they dump them there because because they underworld seems unworthy? Where does the topside think their stuff goes?
I think the upper side gave up their treasure to move above and maybe swore to hold nothing sacred while those on the ground are the ones who defied and couldn't let go. Hence to cross they lose their treasures to the watchman like the electric hair lady did. But the watchman could refuse it if you have other things you treasure ie if you have ties or loved ones or friendships .
Here's why I think this Tamsy doesn't hold anyone close ( not sure) , and he crossed when Rudo crossed he had zero ties just hate, the other holders of the watchman series have nothing but the watchman series. When it's time to cross again I doubt Rudo will be able to because of his ties with the cleaners. Reason being the watchman takes everything you hold dear because that's the currency.

Nanjo is so assertive. Plus the savior complex . My prediction on future chapters, I think they'll continue hooking up but it will be under nanjo's terms. The development we want isn't even close. Nanjo clearly likes the sex but isn't too crazy about mokyeon, and knowing him it will be scheduled , I kinda remember him hating mokyeon springing up on him so ... The power balance has to shift back and put him right where he belongs as the power bottom daah I think Nanjo thinks of him as a brat or sth who's favorite toy was taken away , like even mokyeons speech was heavily on the physical aspects of their relationship like I miss your scent not you, so of course he'd think
I disagree that Mok's confession was heavily on the physical part, he literally repeated he likes Nanjo so much he doesn't know what to do with himself and that's it's hard to wake up knowing he can't see him anymore and that he doesn't have the strength to live without Nanjo and that he just wants to be able to see him even from afar and how much he loves his smile and the way his face scrunches up, he was even able to see Nanjo's beauty when he was cruel to him... Of course he also brought up the physical part because that's a big part of how their relationship started but if Nanjo thinks his confession is about just that he's dumb and being willfully obtuse (and I don't think he is because he wad listening very attentively to Mok before he brought up balls)
Lol did you cram the chapter word for word . And I hope you're right because it would make things a lot more interesting. I don't think Nanjo loves him but he likes sleeping with him so why'd he sleep with him of he knows he's not able to reciprocate his feelings wouldn't putting up a boundary be much better or is this where the title comes in ? Thoughts?
LOL I just reread the last 2 chaps before ch 40 so I kinda remember everything he said because I found it sweet I'm also thinking they might have a casual sex type of relationship for now, especially because Mok doesn't feel like he can ask for more and because Nanjo has probably only admitted to himself that he likes the sex, after all he isn't able to get hard without Mok. I don't think he has done the introspection work Mok did and figured out his feelings yet, but he must've been feeling something since s1 because he didn't seem displeased with the whole "date" at his house, he even reciprocated Mok's interest and texted him often... I just think s1 Nanjo didn't trust Mok, not that he didn't like him, so now they gotta build a bit of trust and he has to fully understand that Mok means what he says before their relationship can become more serious IMO, no clue how they're going to do that lol I trust in DanRim's judgment
I don't think so, like I think the whole "date" was just him humoring him, like he'll do it if you want to. Let's not forget we got here because Nanjo is high-key controlling, like he wanted to control suhwa's sex life/ save him but in actual sense he was controlling him. So I think we'll see more of that like he controls the relationship because he's not emotionally attached to mokyeon, they say he who loves more loses more, so mokyeon better gear up he's not going to get the emotional depth, I think he's getting off on the fragile mokyeon like how harmless he looks , the tears, he's a freak and he gets to explore that with him so it's brownie points but for feelings I don't think so , like he's in control now mokyeon has zero leverage to keep so , so it's all in his terms and he can always leave but won't because of his saviour complex...idk I confused myself...
Sorry I disagree, I don't think he was just humoring him, he looked impressed when Mok cooked for him, he laughed genuinely a few times and when Mok had his head on Nanjo's shoulder Nanjo was biting his lips and clenching his jaw the whole time which suggested he was holding himself back. After they get rained on he could've left but he gets caught in a small lie and instead stays with Mok, asks him questions about his thigh scar and tattoos showing he is curious about him, sleeps with him and stays with him for breakfast and then answers all of his texts. Sure then he meets up with Sunwha because he's trying to see if he still likes him. Later when Mok tells him he wanted him, his reply is "how can I trust you?" which shows that's his main problem. Not to mention after their falling out he brought Mok to the hospital when he was drunk, rushed back to him when Mok made a distressed call and brought him home. That doesn't have anything to do with sex, especially if he doesn't want to see him anymore. Sure he said he wanted to leave all along but ultimately he stays because when Mok looks at him expectantly he can't resist so he has a weakness for Mok too. He's a freak who loves control and Mok's tears? Sure but imo Nanjo is in denial about his feelings, they peek out occasionally but otherwise he keeps them hidden because he is afraid of getting hurt. Will he take advantage of Mokyeon's vulnerability? He might, as a payback, for what Mok put him through before, but I don't see Nanjo as a person who would exploit someone's feelings for him if he doesn't return them at all. He showed he's not a pushover and imo it's a bit too late for him to develop feelings out of nowhere if he doesn't feel anything by now, the story is on its last arc.
Wait is this the final season? Like I'd be interested in his monologue. That's the missing piece here, maybe he's a softie and has a soft spot for vulnerability. Which I think
The author said she wanted to make 2 seasons with 30 chapters each, recently she said something like she might have underestimated the exact number of chapters, but she hasn't confirmed it will be a more than 60 chapters when she got asked either. So let's say we have 20-ish chapters more: 2-3 chps are going to be dedicated to the next sex scene, assuming we're going to get at least 2 more sex scenes until the end of the story other than the one in chap 41, and they last about the same, we have 10-ish chapters of plot for Nanjo to fall in love which imo are too few if he's not halfway there already. Yeah perhaps we're reading too much into it and he just likes seeing Mok vulnerable because it's the real version of him, but yes we really need to see his actual pov.
I'm back from rereading here are my notes
1. Chapter 7 is foreshadowing like our current chapter
2. Suhwa is. A great friend not a so much a lover
3. Mokyeon liked Nanjo from the start
4. Nanjo is weak to cry babies and pleasure
5. He is a freak like he's older and richer but he agreed to a 3some with 2 younger guys and suhwa stopped acting like a lot of chapters ago
6. He caught feelings during the home date because after he texted back aloy and in the 3some after he looked totally burnt out well they both did
7. By chapter 29. They were both done with the esomes like it's like they were in a uphill battle
Also they kissed , like frfr, also we find out nanjo can't get it up without mokyeon and he's in denial also we know the same is true for mokyeon.
8.Nanjo makes a valid excuse it's because of the bruising
9. In most recent chapters , we see nanjo beating him up mostly because he feels like he's been taken for a ride, he doesn't accept the apology because, cry baby doesn't take accountability, like plus his pride is wounded because, he sees the receipts on Suhwa
10. Now in this chapter and in the future, you're right Nanjo caught feelings in sn1 , but he isn't aware or them plus he's super kind like straight from get go.
11. Mokyeon isn't good ,it's his crying that's tagging at our heartstrings, like I guess nanjo wanted to put everything behind him but no here comes this persistent cry baby who won't let you be
Enough yapping here's my prediction
1. It's going to be casual hook ups/ situationship vibes from now on ...with chapter 7, full power bottom mode activated
2. Idk but there was mention that nanjo has a friend, maybe we meet them and they help him sort out his feelings
3. I don't think he trust mokyeon yet but he'll be thinking with with his other head
4. Hopefully Suhwa doesn't make a return but I think he will try
5. Obviously Nanjo will help him get back on his feet and maybe help him with his self harm and self sabotaging tendencies.
