Well it happens to be as well (￣∇￣") but I think it would depend on the person. I tried reading a hetero smut but for me more than seeing both of them doing it I feel more weird about their relationship. Like I feel that in hetero smut the ML is more like a robot and the FL makes my head hurt. This also happens in some BL but in my opinion there's more connection in some.
I don't know if it's normal, but I feel the same way.. ever since I started reading/watching yaoi, straight manga, anime or even in real life couples just doesn't sit right with me. It's totally fine, don't stress about it! I rarely read straight smut too and I actually avoid straight romance altogether at times. For me, it's because I find them to be to predictable/cliché or just because I tend to find bl/gl to be more interesting.
