if this was 'a real life' situation i wouldn't be 'hooked' obviously, but because it's a manga i can freely say what i like and dislike about and why i found it interesting was because of the character development and the plot, usually you'd think that the mc ( forgot his name lol) would turn out to be a uke, you know those typical ones where nerd is cute/good looking without his glasses and the seme falls for him, well anyway it was just interesting

OK. But you know, tastes like opinions reflects also our values and convictions as a human, even if it's just fiction. For my part, I will never enjoy to see him sleeps or falls in love or end up with that guy, for the simple fact he had suffered so much because of that guy, and that healthy people can't like the one who had tormented them for so long (3 years!); it is a reflexe of survivance. If not, it's Stockholm Syndrome.
No, it's obvious that here the bullied one is the "Seme".
In most cases where the Seme "bullied" the Uke, even "rape" him, these Semes are just being pushy; for the most they are protective and we never see those Semes burn cigarette on the poor Uke or hit them.
Here the Uke is maybe a bit attractive, but he's not cute at all nor is he likable. He has a horrible personality and likes to torment others. This how he is. I can understand that this Yaoi is "different" from many, but that's all.

You recognize reality. I know this is fiction, and even know it's a yaoi with bullying, lol. But it could have been better written, better developped, handled. The author has set a background, but whatever happens following it is too unrealistic and not credible at all.
English is not my first language, (I might've been rough), but what's terrible in this story is the lack of morals -like lack of empathy in some readers. The bully has done terrible and delictual things to people (not just the MC), but always got away. No punishment, no law, no morals... Better: for weird reasons he may end up with the MC, LOL!

I believe that for such reasons (lack of morals) and the facts that's unrealistic and sometimes ridiculous, Yaoi will only remain a minor genre read by a particular public. Not simply because it's Yaoi or homo.

I was bullied and I love this story. Your fictional tastes don't correspond exactly to what you want to do in real life, otherwise we'd be throwing Stephen King in jail because he must want to murder people based on his books.

A fiction is an imaginary story popped up of an author's brain (I also write stories, pretty dark), but this is not a reason for the readers to eat it all; it can't hinder also our heart or brain to function and to feel empathic with the MC. It's funny that you mention Stephen King, because if you really know their stories, there are crazy cases of murdering involving fantastic in there, but there are always a solid sense of morals and morality involved. The bad people always disapear in terrible cases in King's scenarios! Where's the morals in that bullying yaoi plot? Lol, if there were, it was forgotten or dumped by author-san. This is what I deplore: the nonsense of this bullying story and the lack of sense of certain readers.
Yaoi will remain a minor genre as long as authors serve us such plots.

I'm sure you are by far better people than our french friend here. It's ok to like a manga like that and there is nothing wrong with you. What is wrong tho is insulting people bc of their interests and tastes. Yes, you may judge a person based on their words, but then you are a superficial a-hole. What you are supposed to judge people by is the way they behave and spreading hate against real people is a lot worse than enjoying an interesting work of fiction.

The question isn't whether it's fictions or not or what kind of plot it is, it's the way it turns out following the set up. There are a great amount of people here complaining about how the story turns and is bad developped by the author. Can't you even grasp that?

ok first, read the bloody genre tags before clicking on the fucking manga, because it clearly says ( unless u need a fucking translator or someone to read it out to u) psychological, which i assume u probably know it's meaning, and obviously if it's not to ur tastes honey then just slide pass.
secondly, not everyone who reads this genre is what you assume they are, and it definitely does not show their personality or character, this is a genre that they either find interesting or the plots development interested them. i'm hooked because the characters roles aren't how most of us thought it would turn out based on the starting and their characteristics, instead it was swapped.
thirdly, a fucking book/manga/novel is meant to contain fucking plots that either are too unrealistic or fake, a book can be about anything which gives us the opportunity to read them, and look at the authors point of view,opinions,and experience on whatever the books about, or just reading for entertainment.
if this was currently happening in reality, in front of my own two eyes i would clearly take action, and books are there for you to learn or experience from someone else's experience and story while being safe. and it's a bloody book why are you comparing it to reality, no one had asked you to do that and obviously in mangas it's a whole lot of fiction and made up stories.

These are not "experiencing a different vision from the usual, under the cover of fiction and in security", this is simply major bad writing from the author.
If you had read books about scenario writing, you would understand that.
That author has set up a quite complicated and interesting past/background for their MCs, but then the rest is a train-wreck. Plan failed, problems non resoluted, actions that don't correspond to the set-up... Outside the fact that it is disappointing for many readers, this is a failed writing. Buutt... if you can wrap all of that under "psychological" or other excuse, fine for you, I'm not buying that.

I'd like to remind you that even if I find many human actions -whether reality or fiction- injust and terrible, I can't save everyone because I'm not God or am I godess. Such childish remark of yours. God himself has let humans to their sort, as Jesus, for a long time now. Lol. You, do you have by chance some powers? I guess no, lol again.
But you can influence those arround you and the world, firstly by open up your heart and being more sensible and empathic towards those in need. Seeing the number of bullying victims IRL, the suicides that follow them... and seeing that most didn't help nor care, and even contributed to the tragedy, you won't make me believe that if such happens IRL, you'll always rescue the victims, knowing how much you enjoy this kind of plot. How many bullied victims did you personally help? Did you care?
It is time for you to know that our tastes reflect also our values as humans, and fiction is not an excuse for accepting or liking everything.
