I think the author is just trying to see how long they can milk this story out and still get people to read it

Yes yes i want the story to focus on the plot rn but if there’s a time skip i pray that there’ll be a wedding
But first they must survive the high way of hell and I hope that happens for the grand wedding and we as readers get a kissing scene with the queen take charge this is how I read her character
