As a novel reader it's definitely worth it. However, if slow-burns aren't your cup of tea, I'd recommend skipping it, or letting it marinate like melonsoda said

It's good.. but if you want to focus on the manhwa, then don't read the novel because after reading the novel, the manhwa looks less interesting (￣∇￣")
I deffo don't think it's less interesting, but maybe more of not wanting to read the same thing twice. Bcs that's the case for me, the manhua is still good, but after reading the novel to like 300 chapters I don't rly jump into the manhua much.

There's another bl manhwa that's also have different vibe between the novel and the manhwa... But the manhwa is so good, that make me read the manhwa again although I already finished the novel...
