In omegaverse and any Chinese manga/novels it is. Idk what it is with them but it is very much normal in their light novels/manga romance. I've read so much that I've literally been immune to it. Well if you want one without reape go read one without rape. Yaoi is a broad topic and there are a lot of wholesomes one that you can choose from. However if you are into the ones I've been mentioning non stop now. It's best you avoid them because there is a 99.99999% chance that there will be rape. It is normal in these types of manga. I haven't said anything about the murderer because I haven't encountered too many BL with that. The only BL I've started to read (with a similar theme that wasn't omegaverse) but realised how fucked it was before I dropped it and never looked back was Killing Stalking.

Also don't be stupid please I didn't say most of BL has a rape scene I'm saying that a specific type of BL trope has a rape scene or a rape flashback of some sorts. Expect something like that to happen in the said trope and don't cry about because it won't change.
