honestly i love the romance genre a lot but straight romances can be “ too explicit “ with the self insert main characters that i feel so cringed out, but with BLs (bc the mc is a guy) it’s easier for me to digest the romance without an overwhelming sense of cringe or even feeling like i’m missing out in my own life. i like straight romance......
