Tbf Jihan up and left wanting to never bother Jaeun again after he realised how controlling he became. But instead of Jaeun settling with his fate alpha best buddy, he looks high and low for Jihan for an entire year, unable to give up on this love they had. It's his dumbass choice lol leave him be. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
If Jaeun's too blind not to pick the obvious nice guy, then I'm glad Siwan is hinted to be with the barista in the end instead. Siwan needs a guy who actually appreciates wtf he's been doing for the entire year while pining for depressed Jaeun. Someone who gave him advice and cheered him up while he's clear upset with helping someone he loves find the person they love. TLDR, both Jaeun and Jihan are lost causes. Siwan deserved better than flighty Jaeun, and thankfully there's a barista (I can't tell if he has a name, maybe he does lol) who watched over him over that yr and saw how amazing he is.
