Personally, at the beginning, I would definitely agree with you. But now? Of course he’s a good person, of course he’s bae, but he kinda dumb. He’s just way too naïve for his own good and he’s learning the hard way. Jaekyung is so triggered all the time, so it’s less that he’s intentionally trying to torture Dan but more that Dan is closest to the natural disaster that is Jaekyung. He’s a terrible employer, everyone knows it, and he has no real friends. If you pay attention though, you’ll see that Jaekyung only gives Namwook, Yosep, and Dan the time of day. He does respect Dan to some extent because he trusts in Dan’s goodwill. Dan knows that and does things here and there that tests that trust and throws his reliability into question: the side hustle for instance. Dan was too tired to do anything other than what was necessary for his job. He could’ve done research on something for Jaekyung’s shoulder, or spent the hustle money on rehab equipment instead of taking Jaekyung “off-campus” to go to another physical therapy facility. Dan doesn’t believe in himself enough to support his own aspirations yet Jaekyung still trusts and listens to his advice (he yells, of course, but he does listen). Until Dan reflects more on what he’s living for, he will continue to be spineless and crumble under pressure.

I actually agree on the things Jaekyung said on the keychain incident IF he wasn't such a loud bitch about it letting his emotions take control, and of course throwing the gift twice. ''just keep your head low and do your job'' I was agreeing so bad with what he said there. dan lied to himself just like MD thinks he's fooling anyone that the gift was because of his gratitude, he just needed any reason because he wanted to gift his crush something. He blushed thinking about giving him a gift. he received another last warning as to why it's a bad idea with how Jaekyung reacted to the other gifts. he also couldn't be honest to Jaekyung about what kind of ''feelings'' he was talking about. I love dan and I know he knows he's being unreasonable (see his monologue under the tree with his hand up) but that was stupid and he accepted his mistake. it still doesn't excuse Jaekyung's rude reaction to the gift. literally saying all that with a calm demeanor, tellind dan the gift is trash, threatening to replace him and leaving it on the table would have sufficed to get the point across. Honestly you have the perfect balance of anger and kindness to a fault between these two. dan didn't take pretty ass heesung and no one else would have enough patience for jae so they truly are destined to be together

Protector for JinxFans&JKstans would you please start going for peace and start posting your opinions with your real account and not impersonating your target and gaslighting about them. Why are you even mentioning the Real Protector who you call MD? Whatever happened look at you treated him first for that call out, or factual evidence being post. Stop your drama please.
