(๑•ㅂ•)و✧This story is based on a popular mobile game( not sure which came first). 12 players are thrown on an island as test subjects and each try to be the last one alive. They have to move around the island trying to find and craft weapons and armour to better prepare themselves to fight other subjects. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Everyone is comparing to solo leveling (and also talking about not comparing it) but WHAT ABOUT HIS PARKING! literally parks on the sidewalk half on the grass and road (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ (btw never read solo leveling and I think this is amazing so far)
it's hard not to compare every webtoon like this to solo leveling nowadays :'D especially since all of them have the "necromancer thing" going on
but yeah, I was furious too when I saw his parking :'D
There are definitely similarities but it doesn't detract from the story. Solo leveling is just God tier for this genre, so I try not to compare it to anything. I'm sure you've heard this before, but you should read it, it's legit (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I've read it since ch 1 ^^" I've also read the novel :'D so I know exactly what it's about :'D
but since reading the novel I actually don't think it's so good anymore tbh, in my opinion it got kinda bad (right where the webtoon is about to continue), vut the ending got better
everything gets compared to solo leveling even though solo leveling wasnt even the first to do this sort of thing. solo leveling is good and im also liking this one so far too so imma just enjoy the ride. also lol on the parking thing, that was a good one.
Lol and still no one talks about the parking ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ ( I might go read solo leveling now since so many people say it’s good)
Maybe it was green paint? (Like photo below) Apparently parking like that is an issue in Korea, idk maybe since he's aiming to kill the hero he's trying to fit the part of a villain ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/korea/comments/gzz2nz/perfect_parking_spot/
that's actually very interesting :'D (and I'm amazed at how that car even got there)
Lol it’s not god tier...the 2nd half went downhill...ending was meh.
I like the art in the manhwa though
agree!
the beginning of it was really good but the second half was pretty weak.. and there was literally only one thing I was glad it happened in the end (but I won't say, can't spoiler)
the art is very pretty, I haven't really found any other webtoon in this genre so far with comparable art
Just a matter of preference ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Originally the art is what hooked me , I'm curious which part was considered second half though?
We will find out after the hiatus hehe
Nahh gotta agree with this as well. Second part was definitely average, subpar even. 'course if you like an mc thats just cool and strong then you might like it still. But plot-wise, first part was indeed superb, but the rest was just..Second part is prob gonna be America arc? Or maybe Japan arc was first? But if you haven't read the novel then they're talking about the next season after hiatus.
This is just what I don't like about most korean works (manhua or novel), they just know how to grab your attention and hook you in the begging, just to let you down in the middle.
Ah got it, thanks for clarifying, I haven't read the novel, but that's a bummer, at least the artwork could help compared to just reading. So I guess my review was just on the first half, well the first part is still really good so I would still recommend unless the ending is really awful
Yeahh it's not really bad, although some may be dissatisfied with the end, it's really up to your preferences whether you like it or not.
