Him working 2+ jobs to keep the house afloat will never change that. That's just normal for a lot of people unfortunately. The way the kids are treat is not! You can feel sorry for the family financial situation but the parents' attitudes are another ballpark.

I thought he meant he fell in love with her when they met at the ball and he called her a dog(that was kind of funny but also very weird when it's revealed that he knows her and is in love with her). But no, they met as kids （￣へ￣） I read it in so many stories, especially in Chinese manhua and I'm just not into it. It's not how I want the characters to be "fated to be together". It takes away some of the spontaneity of the romance for me. And it has also felt randomly added in some stories.
You're literally already at the top of the industry. Just sing and dance well. Your songs will chart and your popularity will skyrocket because your company will make it happen for you even if the songs are subpar. He only has himself to blame if they really do kick him from the group.
Okay so what really bothers me is that the kids look exactly like her and not at all like their parents. It's just weird. Was it for esthetic purposes, to make it look like they were family? But the premise and the eventual ending don't make it out that way at all. I don't mind the no romance as the comments below me spoil because it rubs me the wrong way when the MCs in these stories fall for these shitty MLs just because they were nice to them but acted like complete trash to the og people they've possessed. It's part of the reason why I drop some of these isekai stories. If their dynamic doesn't bother too much, I'll be reading this one to the end.
