In part, I liked the fact that he doesn't end up falling in love with the kidnapper, because seriously, that's becoming a trope lately.
But there are so many things wrong as well. Like, what's the whole point of Hayan's existence? Or why would the bad guy be plain bad? Surely there could be a deeper reason for him to be this freaking nuts?! Anyway, is not a complete waste of time, but we shouldn't have had such high expectations...
Exactly! Regardless of the fact that what he did was wrong- no excuse- I'm sure something happened in his life to make him like that. Because at one point he must have realized his mom had a disease and, even though that may not have erased the feeling of abandonment, someone who understands can't just turn into a psycho so easily!
