I'm sorry but I cringed so hard when Dan kissed the kid.
The sides and the last chapters just made me so unconfortable with his decisions, like I thought he would try to reconstruct his relationship with ML since ML basically pledged to be a slave in repentance (fucking deserved it too, fuck him) and both him and Dan have an unbreakeable love bond, to the point Dan could cheat several times with the boss and ML has no right say shit, like a one-sided open relationship... And to that point is like, alright, fucked up but it's understandable. Life is not magical happy ending so be it. But kissing your affair's teenage son and giving him hope? Absolutely no need to do that too, he could literally just have said "I would consider if you do this and that" to "save" the little fuck from his self-destructing behaviour. But he literally promised AND kissed the kid??? Fucking creep. Just soured his whole character for me.
Yeah, he is teasing the kid but kids take things seriously. That was very off putting and I didnât like it, especially since ML and MC kind of made up, and that was after MC told ML: âThe debt of cheating has cleared.â
Wouldnât kissing the son be wrong?
i am more concerned about the author's choice to have the kid harass Dan and then Dan being ok with it. like what is this "shining strong till the end of his life" and "influencing those around him" bullshit. You don't shine by putting up with a stupid harassing kid and tempting him on. if you really think he doesn't know how to love, you need to teach him instead of promising to sleep with him if he does well.
It annoys me. I donât know why MC thinks that is okay, isnât it weird to promise something like that after making up with ML? Is this just me? Is he not with ML? I donât remember well.
Maybe he got too used to cheating.
Well it wasnât really cheating I guess because ML had a choice to break it off (MC suggested), but he stayed and agreed to the 3 way eventually.
This story hits me too much so I wonât be rereading.
Even more weird since that kid is the son of the boss I believe.
Sorry for bunch of replies. I also noticed that in last chapter/side story 4, when MC kissed the kid, it was still daytime-ish(?) but in the next few panels, itâs dark. Why were the two of them out anyways? Until dark?
This kind of thing unironically fucked up my rating of the series for things like this that make me see just how much depth and sensibility was shown in the main story compared to how romantaziced it feels in the sides.
