This was… something? I mean, it started of as super goofy and not to be taken seriously (even with the assault and all) but out of nowhere the uke was in the sex industry and had a sugar daddy and got raped by multiple men at the same time?? I feel like this was taken too lightly, when working in the sex industry is a complex theme. Only who works there (or has worked) truly knows what it really is, and us outsiders only have a small understanding of it. But no matter how small my understanding is, I can say this ain’t it! I mean, unless the author’s true intention was to show how fragmented the uke was as a victim, and how easily he would sell himself for love, ok that part was well represented. But the rest of the story felt super rushed and lighthearted to be as serious as it pretended to be. So yeah, this was… something.
Also the way the other teacher almost raped the seme, and how the uke even made a joke about feeling it was rape (when they had sex in the school’s bathroom), felt like it was being not serious enough about these heavy themes. Which unfortunately is pretty common with BL, making sexual assault something not serious and just a normal part of life…
