The novel spoilers? I heard the author of the novel got unsurprisingly a lot of shit for it. I will read it because I hope, that the webtoon will somehow have a different ending.

"So, the girl from the other world finally show up but, like the heroine, she also remember everything about their past lives. Last time, after the heroine's execution, she was belittled for not being able to do a good job as the Empress and always compared with the heroine by the Emperor. To make things worst, the Emperor himself was a horrible ruler. The citizen eventually rebelled against them and, if I am not mistaken, killed them. God, seeing that her beloved child meet an horrible end, ask her to make a wish. The girl responded that she wanted to rewind time. This time, she want to manipulate the heroine until the end so she would do all the world an Empress should do and take all the credit for it. But, the heroine wanting nothing to do with the future Emperor anymore and remembering what happened is not fooled by the girl's schemes. Eventually, the girl from the other world is used by other nobles and goes to far. The future Emperor decide to take the side of the heroine and the girl is exiled out of the country for 5 years as punishment. The thing is, he also marry the heroine who become the Empress and this is what cause everyone to hate this story. This childish prick do not deserve to rule and do not deserve her. She would have been better of with anyone else or even single and the heir of her family. The author of the novel, seeing the outrage caused by the ending, wrote a short story from the point of view of the Emperor thinking that He would be more accepted by the readers. However, it had the opposite effect! Basically, even in the past life he was supposedly attracted by her and love with her in a way... The fact that he killed his father was also a lie he told to torment her... Now everyone want him dead for being a asshole prick and abuser as well as a self-entitle horrible moron."

Yeah exactly...drove me mad...what was more outrageous was that the heroine forgave everything that prick did to her saying that he was somehow influenced be the transmigrating chick...like seriously.he tortured and abused and neglected you when you were loosing ur child just under her influence?he made her lick his shoes for god's sake
