Omegaverse sets up the premise that humans have an irresistible biological imperative to breed. Like what do y’all’s think the “heat” is for? Just as an omega cannot control their heat, it is just as hard for an alpha to resists. I’m not saying it. Like every intro to omegaverge manga say so. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
This specific story sets it up so that the ML meets the FL out of nowhere. He doesn’t know her. He is an alpha being tempted by an omega in heat with whom he’s had no previous interaction (as far as we know). He has no emotional imperative to stop himself. No frame of reference, recognition or love to make him think twice. Remember that he did stop himself the second time because of his daughter. （￣へ￣）
Y’all’s are painting the ML as a sadistic, evil, perverted maniac that wanted to rape the FL. Y’all’s realize that the premise is f-up up on all sides and that no one is to blame? “He should die! He should kill himself! He should be castrated!” Just blehhhhh… This ain’t the real world. In the real world, we can guarantee the idea of having choices and explore consent on all sides. Omegaverse doesn’t allow that. (￣∇￣")
Yes he assaulted her. But was it a conscious choice? The premise of omegaverse says No at best, and it’s complicated, at worst.

See the difference? That was an active choice. It’s a grey area to place full blame and responsibility on an alpha that was literally minding his own business, only for a biological imperative like “the heat” to make him commit such a horrible act. Can you say he would have raped her if she wasn’t in heat? You can’t. Can you? （￣へ￣）
As for the FL, her suffering has just started. Cause she’s gonna have to realize exactly the same shit I’m trying to tell y’all’s. Whether the mangaka does that well remains to be seen.
If you like omegaverse, you have to come to terms with the fact that sexual assault cannot be solely attributed to the perpetrator’s character. Unless clearly stated that they are sadistic f-ing assholes who take pleasure tormenting others. （￣へ￣）

This manga may turn out to be shit. Like setting this shit up so FL falls in love with ML. But a lot of y’all’s post ridiculous comments on omegaverse mangas as if “the heat” is meant to be glorified. It’s horrible. It makes people lose control. Imagine that. Raping someone against your own will and consent. Destroying someone else’s life against your own will. That’s fucked up. So a bit of grace and critical thinking before y’all’s post. It’s literally exhausting reading some y’all’s comments. (⊙…⊙ )
I may end up copying this and posting it on similar mangas.

On a side note, it says a lot about us, that we like omegaverse whose premise it is that people may not be able to consent to sex. Sugar coating it with “fated pairs” and “mating bond” doesn’t remove from that. (￣∇￣")
