Lots of people complaining about the manga but yet still they're sticking around and reading it. Y'all are weird. You know the author has a tendency to write messed up relationships that turn happy in the end. Just chill out and enjoy the story.

Lol love messed up relationships and this is definitely not the worst thing I’ve read but the way Dan is degrading himself gives me so much secondhand embarrassment I can understand why people hate it but stick around. I’m constantly having to take a breather while reading these chapters to say “come on Dan wtf are you doing”

This novel is turning into a feminist dream. Why? Why is her instructor a female that looks like a guy? Couldn't it just be a guy? Somehow I know my comment is going to trigger people but I don't care.

I don't mind strong females but the whole manhwa is just 'men are horrible human beings' 'women are the only good' that's what ticks me off. Melissa is incredible and so is Yona and Yuri but like really? All the guys are assholes? Why? And now Melissa is getting pissed off because Nine is overprotective of her? There's no balance. I enjoy reading this but I'm fed up with the 'men are bad' 'women are good' trope.

I think you are forgetting the point of this webtoon. It isn't about being feminist. The body she has taken over was heavily neglected and suffered to the point where she became a bad guy.
She is just trying to carve a new path and has been reflecting on the book herself , unlike most isekai webtoons we have seen so far.
I'm an egalitarian and I'm just seeing this as funny. The men in the novel were trash and she is just standing her ground.

Maybe because Melissa was more comfortable with a woman/more confident in the expertise of a female teacher to teach a female student an unconventional activity like swordsmanship because she'd know how their bodies work and thus adapt the best possible regime for her? Think of it like this: male and female bodies are inherently different and women are physically weaker on the average, so a female knight could help her hone stealthy and quick takedowns rather than long, drawn out fights and pure physical force where she'd lose against someone stronger than her if she were alone (like she did with Nine's brother). Honestly, I can see why the short hair and androgynous art style would make you think the trainer is a male, but for me the second I saw her body and curves I pegged her as a woman. In that regard, all the MLs here do look a bit feminine (especially when they cry) but I don't really mind. Plus, the medieval system was complicated but I'm sure female knights - Dames, I think - did exist so the instructor being a woman isn't improbable. Personally, I'm a feminist though my concerns regarding women are more suited to Eastern countries with really horrible crimes than the West so I think our definitions of feminism might differ if you're in a Western country (that is just my assumption btw). I think it's fine to have a more female centric manga because I do think this novel is exploring certain problems women face, with a few like arranged marriages for political purposes or their husbands fucking concubines while they're blamed for their partner cheating suited to the times the manga is inspired by, and focusing on their female bonds which is completely fine. Add to that, some of the male characters are also great: Nine for one, Ian after his character development begins, her brother to a lesser degree and the duke is just pitiful (≧∀≦). Anyways that's just what I think. Maybe I overanalyzed a bit ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
I hope you don't mind the long reply and know you didn't offend me at all, and I doubt you will anyone else. Have a great day!

if you notice other manhwa, some of the woman is fucked up like FL is angel but actually evil and all ML is asshole at first but when they act cute and likes MC suddenly everyone is okay with that cuz they were hot and all the plot is same bruhh, and this manhwa is different, FL is actually cool and even though all ML is apologize and act cute we still didn't like them lmao, and i think the author is a woman lol, tbh i enjoy this manhwa cuz the author put yuri and tell us women is strong not like some other manhwa where MC is fucking strong but the ML still protect her and MC like okay go on, but Melissa in not like that, and this is one of the reason why Melissa is one of my fav MC ( sry for my bad eng)

Personally I see it as the males growth like how the prince has changed and when her brother understood what was wrong with stalking, etc. These all come from typical romance stories and Melissas issue with nine doesn’t make him fall in the men are bad trope I feel like you’re making it seem like that really dumbs down the point. Aside from that Nines overprotectiveness doesn’t make him a shitty ml it just goes to show Melissas personality is someone who doesn’t believe she needs protection yk. The focus here is to combat the stereotypical love stories where if they weren’t a love story you would realize how weird shit is but it’s up to you and how you want to interpret it

oh and is there a problem with the instructor being a gurl and all ML is asshole? i think i like this plot more and i think you don't like it cuz you like BL right? so it's a bit hard for BL fans to see some handsome guy being treat like asshole.honestly i just want all the guy being asshole in this manhwa except Nine and more yuri( yeah please trigger by this comment tehe)

Have you not.. seen guys in real life? Lmao most of them are shit and isn't it your fault for assuming her instructor was a man just because she.. what? Has short hair? she was a part of the imperial knights she most likely had to cut her hair or it just made it easier to snip it all away tbh it makes a lot more sense for her to have a female instructor seeing as how they have similar physics as well so I don't understand why you think it should have just been a guy? It makes no sense for it to be a guy to begin with xD and IDK if you've read other stories like this before but it's usually the women that are dicks or manipulative towards the ml and everyone else but cause harm to the fl for example the blonde girl in this would have actually turned out to be the bad guy in the story and was manipulating all the other guys to fall in love with her so this story is actually refreshing.. I suggest not reading it if it bugs you that much honestly

I have no problem with the instructor being female. What I have a problem with is the fact that she looks like a guy. Why not make her look like a woman? What's the point of her being a strong female character but in order for her to be strong she has to look like a man? Liking BL has nothing to do with it. I like this story I've just been noticing the trend with shitting on male characters.
I really hope they become a couple in the end. They are perfect for each other.
SPOILER ALERT!!!
Dont worry they're the end game!
Yay!
