honestly, it's not the new style that bothers me most. i feel like the writing for je-oh has changed completely. through the first two seasons he was someone capable who tried to use his shortcomings to his advantage despite the shit hand he was dealt. now he's characterized like a more typical uke archtype. weak, vulnerable, and unstable under duress.
feels weird to read after the author literally stating in the s1 finale notes the je-oh did weight training so he could 'beat someone to a pulp'. where did all his cunning and inner strength go?
