I'm just here to vent my frustrations guys. I'm in the middle of BOOK 2 and maxi and Riftan STILL don't have any healthy communication. It's absurd honestly. Book 2 so far is only about war and barely any romance . But I gotta say Maxi has improved so much , I am so proud of her. She is literally a leader of the rear support in the war now. She is a great mage and maxi is very brave now too. I love her but for riftan there's barely any character development. Like her friendship with Ruth is wayyyyy more interesting than her relationship with riftan. Riftan is just a disappointment.
