I like this about him tho. In an era where everyone is hiding their feelings or trying to manipulate other's feelings, he is a breath of air. He is keeping faith because he respects himself and his feelings and if he gets her, then be it.

Being vulnerable and wanting to love someone isn’t from a lack of self respect.
