correct me if i'm wrong, doesn't that look like hindi? i tried reading it but it just didn't make sense tho( ̄∇ ̄")

that is most definitely hindi or sankskrit script (they have the same script) coz i could read it . it just felt like random letters put together in marriage oath, but in the map it was the country names. usually i just see authors put random symbols so i was just excited to see hindi( a language i know) be there. i think u r right, the author didnt want the script to be legible ( ̄へ ̄)
I don't understand why some people are calling the translations deplorable and pathetic.
i saw one comment saying that the translations were putting too much focus on the British empire by calling it the British empire parliament building but have u read the story, it's about how our main characters want a country without nobility and by extension the monarchy and "empire". obviously, there is gonna be an emphasis on the empire.
and the whole mp thing, come on. I saw two comments talking about this and why is this bothering u so much? how else would u call him? and if saying mp is "clunky", why is saying honorable gentleman ok, that sounds clunky.
the author using -sama and- san is ok coz in Japanese they are honorifics like sir, etc and they are a part of the language and how u address people with the language so in my opinion it's lunatic to complain about that, especially when its fan translations and not official.
there was one comment about the names not being accurate like Louis being more of french compared to the Irish heritage family they are supposed to be but that's a fair criticism, I don't have anything to say about as its valid critiscm
