I dunno but I'm glad that the ex did that.im not agreeing about the rape but if its the only choice to make from the drug addict pervert then even its not a better choice but its safe route to nanase's life. you'll become selfish for once. if ever his ex choose different solution then nanase might been drugged and much worst outcome from what he has now and they might not meet in that timeline. if he choose different. we know how possessive yakuza are. if he has target locked already. nanase might druged, raped, assault, imprisonment and so on that can or might happen if the yakuza really caught him. luckily his ex choice is ok because the guy who want nanase didn't disturb him after and he's not in danger. although he got caught up in trauma on his nose memory. actually. You know. you can't make a right choice. if everything in option is already not a good choice. lucky him, that he meet the one who will treasure him more than any one who will make him suffer then that's a better ending. Knowing that there's someone who will be there for him to make his trauma burried and make happy things from now.
