I recently discovered straight omegverse and every one I've read so far has been disappointing and this one is no different. Why do these authors hate women so much? It's bad enough she has to be in a toxic workplace where everyone looks down on her but she has to deal with sexual assault too?! The last few pages were so distasteful. PLEASE STOP ROMANTICIZING RAPE! It's not sexy or appealing.I especially detest how the woman takes it like that without putting up a fight. Alpha or omega no woman should be treated like that. But of course the FL is gonna make stupid excuses for him and they're gonna get together with no real growth. Why can't we get a genuinely nice story thats rape free, toxic masculinity free ,douchebag free ???!
A suggestion: if people want toxic masculinity free stories, they should stop supporting toxic stereotypes such as 'rape victims are expected to respond 'appropriately' to r@pe and sexual assault'. You would think people would start to figure out that contributing to toxicity doesn't help minimize it. But that doesn't appear to be the case.
Btw I've noticed that it's the same people who usually wonder why victims can't figure out the answers to much more difficult questions who are thinking that it's no surprise they have such a hard time finding the answers to easier questions.
