it feels like he gave up completely lmaoo i liked part 2 at first but i noticed it really started to go downhill with the chainsaw cult thing, when he brought back quanxi for like 5 seconds and she was never seen from again, the value of life and death rendered meaningless to the narrative, constant goonerism and not in an interesting freudian psychoanalytic way just in a weird fanservicey way, complete asayoru and denji character assassination i hated to see it. fujimoto go join gege in facing the wall

Thank u for putting together my qualms omg it used to be peak but midway through part two I sort of fell off, and now I’m completely off the ride. Might keep up with it but not be too invested. It’s just not that peak anymore and I think so much of the good stuff from part 1 revolved around having a clear goal each arc (that lead up to defeating Makima). Yes it was edgy and chaotic but still had some sort of followable plot going. Right now just seems like meandering with no true intention or goal in sight, and fujimoto glazers elsewhere are just trying to make sense of it by assigning words no one ever said and intentions no one ever had to each chapter to make it seem like fujimoto is still cooking and coherent. most of the new shounen mangas coming out recently always have protagonists that were made in the edgelord aura farming alpha male redpill podcast factory so its SOOO refreshing to see a new manga with a dude who has so much love in his heart. kind of reminds me of grown-up thorfinn in a way
the live action of this is one of my favourite films ever i had no idea it was a manga at first... the film is way better though in my opinion
volume 6 has already been released and there are 32 chapters out in total but only 28 are here? please the people yearn for more
i wish i could go back in time and burn the manuscripts of every chapter after the renril arc before it reaches the publisher. the time skip literally ruined the whole story, it was literally PEAKKK up until that point and now i can barely even get myself to finish the modern arc. its so fucking ass it damn near ruins my perception of the whole story. if you're thinking of reading this for the first time, PLEASE stop reading at chapter 116 and just pretend the manga ends there
finish it its not as bad as u think sometimes u gotta pull thru the storyline with satoru is pretty interesting imo
