Ranamun and Guesta's families kinda suck ngl. They're so manipulative. If either of them ended up as the Imperial Consort, can't imagine how these two ducal families would behave. Their families will for sure use their son's position to their full advantage, not surprizing if they'd use it to pressure Emperor Latrasil in certain political matters concerning the nation as well.

Personally don't like Ranamun all that much, but it's still too soon to place any judgement. Dood may betray Latrasil as the adversary and her being the Lord. Or he may team up with her to beat up Girgoll and put a stop towards this centuries old nonsense.
Guesta on the other hand though, while being a manipulative sadist on the inside, deep down still prioritize Latrasil's safety above all.

As for Latrasil, it felt like her past self casted a spell to make it even difficult for her to believe nor comprehand why she could be the Lord. Because it makes no sense on her behavior towards this entire Lord thing, felt like we're missing something either through bad translation or being left out from the novel.

I'm having mix feelings
Like at one hand I want emperor Kaidan to die so that our FL can gain true freedom, but on the other hand dood is a shitty parent + partner but a capable emperor that cares for the empire. I hope dood would survive but retire to the countryside or something and live a peaceful life, far far away from our FL and her precious kids.

I used to really dislike Tak but when he realized and admits his own fault, the consequences of his words and action, tries to put himself on Sanho's shoes, and sincerely tries to redeem himself from his previous hurtful wrongdoings, it's really hard to stay hating this character.
Like dood is putting in legit effort and self reflection. He aint a perfect character and heavily flawed at that, but he's currently trying his best to understand his own self and others, and how badly his past actions & words hurt others. Idk man, I'd feel kinda eh to just diminish all his efforts...
Like hey I'm not saying "yall gotta forgive Tak rn", nah man, yall's feelings of dislike towards this character is valid.
But also maybe try to see that our boy is genuinely putting in effort, and when you're ready, perhaps as a reader you can offer him a second chance too.
He may be putting efforts now but the point is..isn't Sanho still with him just because he's too kind and clueless?
I know it's just a story however I can't help but imagine if this is a relationship of a friend of mine and they started to date the one who USED to r*pe them I'll lose it.
There was just too much pain for Sanho to endure for this so Tak's efforts now doesn't make any sense to me.

- Have no problem with the ML falling for FL so soon, it feels like a breathe of fresh air or change of pace. Though the reason do be kinda shallow. So you'll fall for anyone that will approach you without fear, is that what you're implying?
- But FL do be kinda dense, and half-assing around
- NAWH ACTUALLY most of the characters here seem to love half-assing around, indecisive, and full of reluctance. The only few charas without these traits are ML's mom and bootleg Sylphynford Tachibana.
- Author doesn't seem to understand how to write a FL, they tried to portray FL as someone that knows what she needs to do, but it fails miserably in a way. All it did was made her appear 1-dimensional. If there's anything that made FL reluctant, author would pull the 'trauma-card' without going more in depth to explore and give us a hindsight of the FL's actual thoughts. The OG FL seem to have a more interesting personality than the current FL tbh, especially in the complex way she was written.
- The plot is all over the place, the shitty translation doesn't make it better (Praying for our Lord and Savior AkumaKira to take notice of this manhwa, but at the same time not really, coz this manhwa seems like a trainwreck).
- Lovely Art, lovely outfits, though at times the movements of characters seem a bit stiff, but hey we all started from somewhere.
- Hir is cute but why yo gotta make him appear like he's on the verge of tears 24/7 ToT like gorl are u a sadist, give this kid genuine happiness ghads
- Currently no chara development, plot is confusing. Still hope it can be improved tbh. I'll be staying to see more of bootleg Sylphynford, she's my fav chara now.
She's really strong... In a way, she deserves to be the head of Angenas, not as the queen of the country, due to how bias she is as a queen favouring her own family. But as the head of Angenas, I'm sure she would have been an excellent, ruthless leader. It takes a strong will to not break down under all that bs, then to even strategically cry lmao
In no way am I supporting the empress (because Florentia FTW), but it would be interesting to have a side story that gets into the minds of the Empress, and get to know what she's really thinking and feeling under all that
The character design for Tak, in terms of both personality and fashion sense kinda suck. Dood's just a really lame character. Like yeah, I get why people would find Sanho annoying, though I actually like Sanho. Dood's immature and may need to calm down a bit at times, but overall he's a good person that mean no harm.
Tak on the other hand... Generic, sht personality, harsh and rude to Sanho as though Sanho has nobody else that will love him. Tak's taking Sanho for granted, and in a very rude, narcissistic way. Man it hurts to be in Sanho's position... it just hits too close to home.
I always root for positive character development for every characters, but this is one of the few pairs where I hope they don't end up together. Sanho deserves better. And not to end up with a narcissist.
