i remember reading this a long time ago, somewhat near ch 30-40, and it was very slow so i just dropped it and i saw a comment saying that the ending was trash and when i saw it i was like girl....you had so much potenial... bu maybe its coz the author gave up on the story and probably cuz payback (basically payback and december are made by the same author) was way more popular than this so i kinda see why the ending was bad.
The ending of the webtoon is still only half way of the novel. I read this a long time ago I remembered they were even married. The artist and the author only agreed up to this chapter in the contract. The artist actually was anticipating if the author wanted the webtoon to continue with more seaons, but they never reached out to artist. So basically this is the ending.
