A lot of times you don't realize it in the moment, when i was 12 or so i walked to the store right next to my house and was wearing nice makeup. I was waling with my cart on my phone and this middle aged guy stopped me and mentioned i should pay attention then continued to shower me with compliments and ask my age and where my parents were, i was completely oblivious to what was going on and because i was so young i had no idea. He finally walked away but he was waiting at the exit and asked if he could give me his phone number and i declined and he told me not to call the police or anything. Again i was too dumb and innocent to know what was happening and i walked home alone.
