Maybe the idea of the author is that he fell in love and is less rational in his choices and less sharp in his judgements.

he is very reational....i can totally understand him....why do people always think that love is about being loved back? love is pure and unconditional....everything else is an illusion of the ego....the uke just loves the seme....thats it...no expectations....he suffers less than others because of this...he is very intelligent and strong :)
This might just be me, but the rational choice would be to search for someone healthier. Even if you are in love, it is still your own choice to act upon your feelings or not. However, it is still understandable what he does, because he acts out of his emotions. What he does is not random and weird, he just follows his feelings. But is he being rational? no.

This was very original. The author didn't betray Clark's character or make it a cliche romance in any way. Good job
With that said, there was always something missing. Some extra layer to the story that I expected to come, but never did. Something deeper about Clark and his motivations/past regarding his hobby maybe? But that doesn't take away from it being an interesting, original story.
Anyone else thinking this author's character art style would better fit a yakuza theme? Not a criticism! I'm digging this. I'd just like to see these faces and bulky bodies in a grittier atmosphere I guess lol
